Ushi Mart Moves Into New, Larger Studio Space

Ushi Mart Moves Into New, Larger Studio Space

July 1 and Ushi has moved into a large new space at The Cotton Factory. We’re feeling pretty bright-eyed by the beautiful wood flooring, exposed brick, and 15” ceilings that span across the 1.600 square feet of studio space.  Speaking of which, we finally have enough room to house our beautiful, Pro 10-Needle Embroidery Machines, our industrial straight stitch, serger, cover-stitch, and cutting machines, and the two design and sewing tables to bring our creations to life.

What's New

We have a redesigned showroom and gallery with original artwork by Stacey Camp, photographs by Caleigh Morren,  skateboards by The Local Skate Shop, and our archive of collected original art. In the showroom, we have a curated selection of lingerie by Hamilton designer With Love Lingerie to complement an Ushi piece.

Moving Up

It’s a dream to be working in such a spacious, bright studio and we're so thankful to The Local Skate Shop and The Cotton Factory to help us with the move. To think we started in the basement of the Storehouse Building only a few years ago (think Sorcerer's Apprentice and Mickey Mouse!) before moving up into a large suite that we only could have envied in 2018. It’s something we're pretty grateful for and it will assist us towards designing and delivering couture you will be excited to wear.
